Who we are
Our mission is simple, We exist to lead people to Jesus by Making Disciples, Building Leaders, changing lives. We are individuals that have come together through shared hope only found in Jesus. Our heart is to help others find that same hope.
How we got started
Lead Church began in the hearts of our Founding Pastors Joshua & Sara Watson in 2014 and began meeting in their home in October of that same year. Lead Church officially opened its doors to our community January 18th, 2015. Our first services were held at Hawaiian Falls Waterpark (now Typhoon Texas) in their event center. In March of 2017, our church moved locations to Murchison Elementary School where we met until 2020. Our last mobile church location was at the Courtyard Marriott in Pflugerville where we met from 2020-2022. We are now meeting at our new home Sundays at 5pm at 636 W Front Street, Hutto TX 78634.
In January of 2024 Pastors Joshua & Sara Watson transitioned from Senior Pastors, to Founding Pastors at Lead Church. Pastors Kyle & Alyssa Gibbs now serve as Senior Pastors at Lead Church and are passionate about building on the foundation that was laid by our Founding Pastors.
Where we're headed
We are believing God for a place of permanency (a home of our own) here in Hutto and are actively looking for a location. This will allow us to expand our influence and better serve our community and our church. There are no small plans for our future at Lead Church. We serve a big God and are believing and expecting big things for our future. Here is just a few things we are expecting to see happen in the future of our church.
- Establish a permanent home and office location
- Open Preschool Academy & Fitness Center
- Establish an on-sight certified Mental Health Facility
- Open LeadChurch K-12 Private Christian Academy
- Open Lead Church Leadership University (Fully accredited 4 year college)
